Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

FAQ’s:
Q: What are Andrew’s qualifications?
A: Andrew is not a scientist and posed this question himself: “why me, I am only a financial advisor?” This is similar to a question Peter likely posed, “why me Lord, I am only a fisherman?” Perhaps a better reason might be Andrew’s training to analyze facts, to derive logical conclusions and to be able to explain sometimes complicated answers, in a simplified and understandable manner; yet able to go “deeper” when needed.

Q: What is Andrew’s teaching experience?
A: Andrew has taught numerous classes in finance and economics at local adult schools and at a local Community College. He has spoken on creation a number of times with good reviews and comments (see following)

Q: What resources are used and who has derived the evidences and reasoning promoted?
A: Andrew only summarizes arguments that are promoted by PhD Scientist in various books on the topics discussed. He does not promote his own theories, as he feels unqualified to do so. In many ways, the presentation are simply concise summaries of the texts these scientists have written, in a multi-media format.

Q: What costs are involved?
A: If within a 2 hour radius of Auburn, Ca, Reasoned Faith presentations are, in most instances, given free of charge. Further destinations may incur some costs.
FAQ’s (continued):
Q: What age groups are appropriate for Reasoned Faith presentations?
A: Reasoned Faith presentations can to a certain extent and depending on the topic, be adjusted to most any age group. For age groups below 15 years old a single topic will be recommended.

Q: Is Scientific Creationism synonymous with Intelligent Design?
A: While Intelligent Design ultimately points to a god, it does not point to our God. Nor does it promote the accuracy of the Bible and of the truth about Jesus Christ and his being the way to our salvation. Believing God and Believing in God are two different outcomes and only one leads to salvation and eternal life.

Q: How can attending a Reasoned Faith presentation help me or my church group?
A: All theories (or models) presented that explain various evidences as they apply to the origins use Scripture as the basis. Thus, once the explanations are understood, a stronger belief and respect for the accuracy of the Bible should follow. This is what all Christians need; to be strong in their faith and thus be able to confidently share their faith with the world.
